2 Corinthians 2:15a (NLT)
15 Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God.
Today I was urged to address the one word characteristic that best fits my savior LOVE! Today's devotion's reminded me of the fragrance and sweetness of your word, the eyes of compassion, the eyes that will always look back at us accepting us as your own. I experience this exchange just yesterday in the presence of eighteen 6-8th grade students. What a joy, to be in their presence extending to them the love of the Lord in me. Your love radiating all over the place. That's what it means when your presence fills a room. You began with filling the room in our hearts, our minds, saving our very souls as this work is being perfected in us, if comes out of us. for lack of a better analogy, its like garlic. The more you consume the fragrance surrounds you. Others come by and smell it, a lover may even taste it on your skin. The fragrance of your love so much sweeter, it entices and draws. To those being saved the words says its a sweet smelling aroma, to those perishing it is quite different.
Thank you for using me, use me until all come to know you in such a special way.. I want all to have this life giving perfume.
